Town & Country Cabinets
420 Fort Hill Rd Gorham ME. 04038
Established in 1974, Town & Country Cabinets has been owned and operated by Ronald and Grace Smith since 1976. Their son, David, has been active in the business for over 25 years and their daughter, Carol, joined the team in 2004.
Town & Country Cabinets first began production of custom woodworking from a facility on 150 Middle Street in the heart of downtown Portland, Maine. In 1981, the Smiths renovated an abandoned blueberry factory in Gorham, Maine and moved the operation to its present location at 420 Fort Hill Road (Route 114), just 3 miles from the center of town.
"Hurricane Bob" hit in August of 1991. Heavy rains accompanying "Bob" caused the nearby brook to overflow - flooding the lower level of the building with 39 inches of water and causing a considerable amount of damage. The following year, the entire structure was moved to the top of the hill and expanded to house the current operation.
For over 30 years, Town & Country Cabinets has been committed to providing the very highest quality of custom and production pieces and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
